DETAILED ITINERARY

All aboard for a 1:00 p.m. departure. Meet your captain, crew, and guide Ryan before setting sail from the busy port of Split. Destination will be Brac Island, home to Zlatni Rat beach or the “Golden Horn”, one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches. Enjoy a swim stop, the port, and beach before captain’s dinner aboard

Hvar Island is quickly becoming the “go to” destination for Europe’s rich and famous. Our yacht will depart from Bol-Brac and then navigate the azure waters of the Adriatic between islands. Hvar possesses a natural port, protected by the Pakleni islands, and is one of the region’s most gay-friendly destinations. Our yacht will make a swim stop along the way. Free night for dinner in Hvar followed by an optional group outing to a local nightclub (not included).

The island of Mljet (link) was first described in the 6th century BC as Melite, ancient greek for honey. Our yacht will dock on west side Mljet, a national park. As a nature reserve, the majority of the island is protected virgin forest. Swim stop in a private cove along the way. The landscape is dramatic, consisting of limestone and dolomite forming ridges, crests and slopes. Inland there are brackish lakes known as “mud-lakes” or “salt-lakes.” Free night for dinner.

Dubrovnik (link) is the largest port city in southern Croatia. For “Game of Thrones” fans, you will recognize some of its local landmarks. Founded in the 7th century, Turks, Venetians, and the French have all controlled and/or destroyed the city. Before heading to the city, swim stop along the way. Our yacht will overnight in Dubrovnik’s busy port. Free night for dinner followed by a second GMMOM outing to a local bar/nightclub (not included).

Korcula (link) is one of the Adriatic’s largest and most beautiful islands. The port of Korcula Town is nicknamed “little Dubrovnik” because of its many medieval churches, squares, and palaces. Both the island and city feel more intimate, perhaps because of their distance from the main cities of Split and Dubrovnik. Famously, Marco Polo was taken prisoner in a naval battle between Venetians and Genoese.

The tiny port of Trstenik is by far the smallest and most remote town the GMMOM group will visit this week. With a year-round population of just 117, it’s the perfect place to relax, drink a glass of local wine, or go for a hike before final stops in Makarska and back to Split.

After many nights of island-hopping, we head back to the Croatian mainland and the sun-kissed port city of Makarska (link). The port sits at the foot of an impressive coastal mountain chain, in particular Mt. Biokovo, a nature reserve home to European golden eagles. Final captain’s dinner onboard followed by a night on the town in lively Makarska.

Early morning departure from Makarska, destination Split. Our yacht will dock shortly after breakfast service, around 9-10 a.m.
